Location: the hotel was not far from the charming quarters of Copenhagen and Frederiksberg and cool restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. I visited Le Gourmand near the venue for a few drinks.

Good location. Close to the center on foot. It has its own parking lot. There are many restaurants and shops around.
There are a lot of people at breakfast and little room. No hot dishes.

I found the staff to be very friendly, accommodating and cheerful which makes all the difference when on a business trip.
When I first got to the hotel the room they had assigned me had obviously had a heavy smoker in it as it stank and the bathroom smelled of an open sewer. I thought the whole hotel was smoke free so I returned to reception and they said yes it was a smoke free hotel. Well surely the cleaner would have noticed that the room stank of smoke and the bathroom smelled of a sewer? So they moved me to a room on the 3rd floor which was much better. However, if the rooms are checked after someone leaves then surely they would have noticed the smell., were they expecting me to just put up with it? Seems strange.
